We’re a week late announcing the winners of the Moody Gardens Palm Beach free ticket contest give-away.
A pesky storm named Hurricane Beryl threw a few wrenches into The Bulletin machine, but all has been resolved, and the wheels are again cranking.
Thank you for the hundreds of entries we received. We continue to seek out new venues to bring you opportunities to win free tickets to nearby entertaining events for the whole family.
Moody Gardens is a long-time partner of ours, but this time we partnered to bring you a chance to enjoy a day (and even an evening if you wish) at its Palm Beach water park. This is a chance for the whole family to bathe the day away at this incredible facility. A band performs on Saturdays about 7 p.m., and you can also watch the fireworks from there.
The tickets are good for any day, but Saturday will give you the most entertainment value. But, it is also the most packed. If you don’t like big crowds, you may want to enjoy Palm Beach on another day. Either way, it’s a lot of fun.
Each winner is receiving by mail four vouchers to the park, which can be exchanged for tickets at Moody Gardens’ box office. The vouchers have no cash value, just fun value.
The winners are:
Madison Martinez of Lake Jackson, who picked up the paper at Brazos Mall. We have a blue bin between the restrooms and the food court.
Jacob Carrizales of Clute, who found us at the Dairy Bar in Lake Jackson.
Patricia O’Dowd of Lake Jackson, who got her copy of The Bulletin at the Lake Jackson Recreation Center. We have a rack right by the front door.
Darla Cameron of Angleton, who picked up a copy at the Angleton Library.
Vicki Chelette of Angleton, who got The Bulletin at the Angleton Recreation Center. We place papers weekly at the left side of the front counter.
